Every once in a while, you find yourself on a film set that reminds you exactly why you fell in love with this industry. The collaboration, the focus, the shared momentum — it all hits differently when the right people are in the room.
Working on AMPM (A Minute Past Midnight) alongside Eleven Pictures and Greenlight Film Co was one of those rare experiences where everything felt aligned from the start.
From the moment I walked onto set, I could feel the intention in the room. Nothing was rushed. Nothing was chaotic. It was a space where each person understood their role, respected the process, and brought a level of craftsmanship that elevated every scene.

A Vision-Driven Production
At the heart of this film are two creatives who consistently set the tone for excellence:
Brett Meilleur of Eleven Pictures (Director / Producer / DOP) and Dave MacDonald of Greenlight Film Co (Production Manager / DOP / Cam Op).

Brett brings a distinct visual voice — one that’s cinematic, emotionally grounded, and deeply intentional. Dave brings clarity, structure, and an ability to keep every moving piece aligned. Together, they create a set environment that feels both creatively free and professionally disciplined.
It’s the kind of leadership that makes everyone around them better.

My Role: Camera Support & On-Set Flow
My job on set was focused on keeping the camera department moving efficiently and staying ahead of what the team needed.

🎬 Slating every shot — ensuring continuity, organization, and a clean workflow for post-production.
🎥 Assisting camera operators and the 1st AC — helping with lens swaps, gear adjustments, and setup transitions.
🧰 Tool bag always strapped on — ready with tape, tools, or quick rigging support anytime the crew needed an extra pair of hands.
This role lives in the details — being aware, being prepared, and making sure nothing slows down the momentum of the day. With a team this experienced, it was effortless to lock into that rhythm.
A Team Built on Skill, Trust & Communication
One of the biggest reasons this production ran so smoothly was the incredible cast and crew who brought their professionalism and talent to set. Every person contributed something essential.

The Set Atmosphere
What stood out most was the calm professionalism in the room. Even in the heavier or more emotionally intense scenes, the environment remained steady and respectful.
Communication between departments was seamless. Everyone trusted each other. And because of that, the production flowed with an ease that made the long days feel rewarding rather than exhausting.

Why This Project Mattered
Working on A Minute Past Midnight felt meaningful — not just because of the story itself, but because of the people behind it. Every member of the team showed up with passion and precision. Every detail mattered. Every scene felt intentional.
This project reminded me that filmmaking is at its best when everyone is moving toward the same vision, bringing their own strengths into a shared creative space.
Final Thoughts
I’m grateful to have been part of this production, to have supported such a talented camera team, and to have worked alongside a cast and crew who elevate the craft in everything they do.
Huge thank you to Brett Meilleur, Dave MacDonald, and the entire Eleven Pictures & Greenlight Film Co team for bringing me in and trusting me with this role.
I can’t wait for the world to see what this team created with A Minute Past Midnight.
