Video Production Costs: What Shapes the Price of Your Project
"What does a video cost?" is the first question almost everyone asks, and the honest answer is that it depends on what you need. Our current packages and rates live on our pricing page. This post explains what actually drives the number, so you know what you're paying for and where you can save.

How our packages work
Every package is a baseline built around a single operator. Extra crew, travel outside Winnipeg, music licensing and equipment rentals are quoted separately, so you only pay for what the project actually needs. Rush delivery and same-day event turnaround cost extra because they mean moving other work around.
What drives the cost of a video
Shoot days. One location in half a day is very different from three locations over two days.
Crew size. A solo operator keeps costs down. A gimbal op, second camera, audio tech or visual observer adds capability and cost.
Locations and permits. Studio rentals, public property, road closures and airspace approvals all add time or fees.
Talent and production design. Actors, extras, wardrobe, set dressing and vehicles are usually line-itemed separately.
Drone and FPV. Simple aerials are quick. Event flying, crowds and controlled airspace need more crew, planning and approvals.
Post-production. Edit length, colour, sound design, motion graphics and the number of revision rounds.
Deliverables. One hero video costs less than a hero plus a library of verticals and ad cut-downs.
Turnaround. Tighter deadlines mean rush rates.
