Planning and Pre-Production
Months of planning went into making this shoot a success. David had meticulously scouted and chosen locations throughout Montreal that would reflect the themes and energy of his tracks. From iconic cityscapes to quieter, scenic spots, each location was carefully selected to bring his music to life visually.
Pre-production is where the magic really begins, and this trip was no exception. Storyboarding ideas, organizing a tight filming schedule, and coordinating logistics allowed us to hit the ground running as soon as we arrived.
Action in Montreal
As soon as we landed, it was all hands on deck. Over the next two days, we captured stunning visuals across diverse environments—open fields, scenic overlooks, and urban backdrops that encapsulate the soul of Montreal. Each setting was chosen to match the mood and narrative of the songs we were working on.
The tracks we filmed for included:
UFO
Dreamer
Heaven’s Mugshot
Building a Mystery
Just Hit Me Up
Between
Each song brought its own vibe and visual demands, from surreal and dreamlike elements to gritty and raw aesthetics. David’s vision for his music paired perfectly with the energy of the city, and it was incredible to see the creative process unfold in real time.
The Final Product
The two days flew by, but the content we captured exceeded all expectations. Every frame was carefully crafted to highlight the emotions behind David’s music, and the final videos truly reflect the heart and soul of his new album.
Take a look at the videos we put together and experience the journey yourself. David’s music combined with Montreal’s stunning landscapes makes for something truly special.
Thank You, Montreal
A huge thank-you to David for bringing us on this creative journey, and to Montreal for providing such an inspiring backdrop. It was an unforgettable trip, and I’m excited to share the final visuals with all of you.
Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes content and updates as we bring this album to life!
